The team of Zondex Valve Manufacturing Group has completed the production and shipment of a batch of segment control ball valves, Model 422, for an industrial project in Russia. The delivery included DN400 and DN600 valves, with a total quantity of 11 units, equipped with multi-turn electric actuators by AOX.
The project was carried out with a strong focus on engineering and technical selection. During the design stage, the company’s specialists performed flow capacity (Kv) calculations, based on flow-rate, operating temperature and pressure drop data, which was provided by the customer. This enabled the selection of an optimal configuration of control valves, ensuring precise flow regulation and stable process performance.
Particular attention was given to actuator configuration. Each AOX actuator underwent individual calibration, including torque settings, limit positions, speed parameters, and control settings in accordance with project requirements. This ensures reliable valve operation within automated systems and high positioning accuracy of the control element.
Valve assembly was carried out in compliance with technological standards and requirements for industrial pipeline valves. All units underwent staged quality control, including inspection of sealing surfaces, tightness, geometric accuracy, and proper integration with actuators.
Prior to shipment, the products passed final inspection, including tightness testing, functional verification of the control mechanism, and operational testing of the actuators under working conditions. This confirmed full compliance of the equipment with the specified performance parameters and operational requirements.
The successful execution of this project further demonstrates the expertise of Zondex Valve Manufacturing Group in supplying control pipeline valves with electric actuators for complex industrial systems.
