Knife Gate Valve Model 106 provides tight sealing for bi-directional flow of the medium.
The sealing elements consist of rubber rings made from abrasion-resistant elastomer, reinforced with a steel ring to ensure stable positioning within the valve body. Retaining rings hold the seals in place, allowing unobstructed flow of the working medium. In the open position, the seals are pressed tightly against each other, effectively preventing abrasive particles from entering the lower section of the body.
Design Features:
- Bi-directional sealing (seals can be replaced without disassembling the valve body)
- One-piece body
- Tight seal contact provides full bore flow without stagnation zones
- Removable bottom cover with an option to connect a body flushing system
- Self-cleaning knife, removing sediment during operation
- High resistance to abrasive media due to no contact between the working medium and the valve body
Working Media:
- Water, steam, condensate
- Alkalis
- Acids
- Abrasive contaminants
- High-temperature gases
- Petroleum products
